THIS COURSE IS NOT INTENDED FOR NOVICE SHOOTERS. This course is designed for those who have practiced with their firearms, and want to learn to draw effectively & safely from concealment.
Anyone who has taken the NC Conceal Carry Course knows that 90% of the class is just teaching the state laws. While the law is truly important, there are skills that are needed but not taught in that course. Rarely are Conceal Carry students taught to safely draw their firearm from concealment, which can be one of the most dangerous – and vital – skills during a life or death situation.
In Conceal Carry 2: Practical Skills, we will cover many of the most recent changes to firearms laws. We will also cover Castle Doctrine. There will be dry-firing practice in the classroom. On the range, students will practice drawing from concealed, drawing from a holster, acquiring target, firing from varying distances and re-holstering a loaded firearm safely. While speed and accuracy will be practiced, our main focus will be on safety.
