Defensive Pistol 2
May 26 • 10:30 am - 2:30 pm$125
4 Hours – $125
Prerequisites: Defensive Pistol 1
This is the second foundational course in the Defensive Pistol Series. This class builds upon the fundamentals gained in Defensive Pistol 1, focusing on learning to draw the pistol and work from the holster. Students will learn to safely draw and re-holster their firearms under stress. Shooters will begin to master critical gun-handling and immediate action skills under stress. Defensive Pistol 2 also introduces basic defensive principles such as scanning and managing the scene after a defensive encounter. At the end of this course, students will be able to safely and efficiently execute the draw stroke in order to quickly and accurately engage a target. As with Defensive Pistol 1, if you have received your Concealed Handgun Permit we strongly recommend that you take this course. Defensive Pistol 2 is a prerequisite for Defensive Pistol 3 and Defensive Pistol 4 and advanced Skills and Drills Sessions taught at Triangle Shooting Academy.
