NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting

This is a beginner firearm safety class – not a marksmanship course! We recommend this class for those who are new to firearm or have limited experience. Extensive training and in-depth safety principles are stressed including the NRA rules for safe gun handling. This objective-based class offers instruction in all facets of firearm ownership including safe gun handling, parts and components, operations, ammunition, maintenance, basic stances and shooting techniques. Continued opportunities for skill development is discussed. Firearm (or rental package), 50 round of factory ammunition, eye & ear protection (prescription eyewear acceptable), and a positive attitude required. Upon successfully passing this course, students will meet
NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting (ILT)
national standards and will receive an official certificate of completion.
Approximately 8 hours including 50 rounds live fire training.
