Thank you for considering Triangle Shooting Academy for your next range day! This page is designed to help guests like yourself navigate their first visit to the range at Triangle Shooting Academy.
All guests who wish to go on the range, whether shooting or spectating, must watch our Safety Video and complete our Range Waiver. This can be completed either online or in-store.
We recommend watching the safety video and completing the range waiver online. By completing this process online, you save time waiting in line during your first visit to our facility.
You can complete this process by clicking here!
If you wish to complete this process in store we recommend that you arrive 30 minutes earlier than your desired time to shoot on the range. When arriving at our facility you will immediately see our Guest Services Desk. On the Guest Services Desk, you will find multiple iPads for guests to complete this waiver. You can begin filling out the waiver by clicking on the ‘Range Application & Agreement’ button on the iPad.
Once you have completed this waiver, a Guest Services Team Member will direct you to our Safety Video Room. This video is approximately 9 minutes long. During this video, no talking or cell phone use is permitted.
All guests who wish to go on the range must obtain an annual Range Card.
Annual Range Cards are $15.00 and allow you access to our range for the next 365 days from purchase.
- Annual Range Cards are not Membership Cards. See Membership options here.
- Annual Range Cards do not include your range fees.
If you view the Safety Video and complete the Range Application and Agreement online you will need to visit our Guest Services Desk when you arrive at our facility. A Guest Services Team Member will process your waiver and process your Annual Range Card. During your visit make sure that you have a valid driver’s license, State Issued ID Card or passport.
If you view the Safety Video and complete the Range Application and Agreement in-store a Guest Services Team Member will process your waiver and process your Annual Range Card. During your visit make sure that you have a valid driver’s license, State Issued ID Card or passport.
Once you have your range card you are ready to get in line at our range counter. While standing in line, you will see two racks of individual targets. You may look through these and pick out which targets you would like to use during your visit. We suggest anywhere from 1 to 3 targets per shooter.
When it is your turn at the range counter, please make sure that all guests who wish to go on the range have their Annual Range Card AND their photo ID ready to turn over to the Range Counter Team Member helping you. We will hold onto your cards until you have completed shooting.
Once a Range Counter Team Member has all participant’s Range Cards and IDs, they will begin ringing up your range time and gear. If you or members of your group wish to pay separately please let the team member know prior to this point.
After you have paid for your range fees and gear the Range Counter Team Member will assign you a bay and lane number. Our Team Member will point you in the direction of the correct door to enter so that you can get to your bay and lane quickly.

Upon entering the range, you will quickly notice our Range Safety Officers – wearing bright red shirts. These Team Member’s main priority is to keep you and all our guests safe. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask!
When you enter your lane please make sure all firearms are pointed down range before unbagging them or doing anything else. If you have multiple targets you may store the ones not in use by the magnetic clips hanging up on the lower left side of your lane.
All of our lanes have cardboard backers for guests to hang their target on. When hanging up your target please make sure that the target is below the black line printed on the cardboard backer. Targets are to be hung up by stapling them to the cardboard backer. Staple guns are in all lanes on the shooting bench. If your lane does not have one please notify a Range Safety Officer and they will assist you.
When your target is stapled up and you are ready to send it down range you will use our electronic target carrier. While in your lane you will notice a touch-screen at the top left of your lane. Tap on this screen and it will bring you to the distance screen.
