Do I need a membership to shoot on the range?
No, you do not. Non-members may use our range for a fee of $20.00 (per hour) for 1 shooter and $15.00 for an additional shooter. Two shooters maximum per lane. There is a $15 fee for an annual range card which is good for one year.
Do I need prior shooting experience to shoot on the range?
No, you do not. We have Range Safety Officers available to help out first-time shooters and keep everyone in the range safe. When paying for your range time, please notify a range counter team member if you are a new shooter. We recommend you take a basic firearm class or an initial private instruction.
What calibers can I shoot on the range?
Anything up to, but excluding, .50 caliber is permitted.
Are there calibers that aren’t allowed on the range?
Anything faster than 4,000 feet per second is prohibited.
What are the blue mats outside the range doors for?
These are sticky mats to collect any lead that you may have on the bottom of your shoes.
Can I collect my brass?
You are welcome to collect all of your brass behind the firing line. Please notify an RSO upon arrival that you will be collecting your brass. No brass beyond the firing line may be collected.
Can I use my own ammo?
You may use your own ammunition as long as it meets our range requirements. It must be all brass ammunition; No steel core, steel/aluminum cased, armor piercing, green-tip, tracers, incendiary, black powder, any type of ammunition which contains “shot” or any other type of ammunition which is not listed but deemed unsafe by a Range Safety Officer. We only allow slugs in shotguns.
How many people are allowed on a lane?
A maximum of two people is allowed per lane.
What do I need to bring with me to shoot on the range?
Eye and ear protection is a must. If you do not have your own eye and ear protection we sell and rent both. Make sure that you wear closed toed shoes. You are permitted to bring your own firearm, ammunition, and targets. We do have some restrictions on these so please refer to our range rules to make sure that all of your gear is approved.
Can my child shoot on the range with me?
Children 12 years and older as long as they have a parent or guardian with them. Click here to view all age requirements.
Can I get private instruction with my firearm?
We do offer private instruction by the hour. Private instruction is $90 for 2 people. Annual members receive 10% off of private instruction.
Can I reserve a lane ahead of time?
We do not take reservations but we do offer event scheduling and planning. Please contact our event coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org
I was on the waitlist when someone who was in line after me got a lane before me. Why would that happen?
One of our VIP membership benefits is being a priority on the waitlist. This means that if the range is full and we are on a waitlist, VIP members will get on the range before non-VIP members.
Can I use my prescription glasses as my eye protection?
Yes, you may. We highly recommend also wearing a ballcap.
